The Firebird's Feather
Russian Romantic Harp Music
(including music by Gliere, Glinka, Rachmaninov, and others)

CD incl delivery in the UK: £9.99
The Firebird’s Feather is (with two exceptions*) an album of superb Russian solo harp music, most of which is little-known, and deserving of a much wider audience.
(*The piece by Sergei Rachmaninov was originally composed for piano. The composer of the title track is not Russian but it was written in a Russian style and based on a Russian folk-tale).
All pieces were played on a modern concert harp by Danielle Perrett.

Naderman Sonatas
F. J. Naderman ~ Sept Sonates Progressives
Performed on a Naderman-style single-action harp by Danielle Perrett

CD incl delivery in the UK: £9.99
The Naderman Sonatas by Francois Joseph Naderman were first published in 1830, His family made harps and the music on this CD, played by Danielle Perrett, was performed on a reconstruction single-action harp built by Beat Wolf, as a copy of a Naderman harp.
This under-rated set of sonatas reflect the turbulent times of the early 19th Century when they were composed, and were probably played by Josephine Bonaparte when Naderman, who also taught harp at the Paris Conservertoire, was her teacher.
